Delicious M&M Cookies

The other day, I was really in the mood for some M&M cookies.  You know, the kind that is chewy and dense filled with bursts of crunchy candy-coated chocolates?  So I decided to make these.

Adding the M&M's to the dough.

Isn't it beautiful?

Using a medium scoop to put the dough on the cookie sheet.

Right away when the cookies come out of the oven, they will look kind of puffy.

And after cooling for a few minutes on the pan, they will look like this.  I love their dense, chewy texture. What do you think?

M & M Cookies

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 5 tablespoons instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups M&M's

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or silpat liner.  In large bowl, cream your butter and sugars until well combined and fluffy.  Add egg and vanilla.  Add flour, pudding mix, baking soda and salt, stirring to combine.  Add M&M's, stirring to combine.  With a medium cookie scoop, place dough on cookie sheet, about one inch apart.  Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through. Let cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.  Grab a glass of milk and enjoy!
