Leeks, beautiful leeks

The other day I was trying to be super creative with my garden produce.  I had a kohlrabi and a leek.

Hmmm, how to put these together? 

I ended up making a Kohlrabi Leek Salad with Mustard Dressing. 

It was awful.  Not good at all.  In fact, I donated the whole bowl of salad to the compost pile.  I am not sure if it was the kohlrabi (I don't think I really like kohlrabi actually), or the dressing?  I'll spare you the recipe, but wanted to share the photos I took.

Aren't these leeks beautiful?  Do you have any creative, tasty recipes using kohlrabi?
